The 8-metre 'DC25' by 'DutchCraft' is designed as a tender yacht. Its versatility is remarkable. In the blink of an eye, the tender yacht can be transformed from an airy pleasure craft, to a sporty diving or fishing boat, or boat for carrying motor, for example. The propulsion is all-electric, ensuring that the boat navigates the water with virtually no noise and no greenhouse gas emissions.

As with many of the multi-purpose motorhomes, the flexibility of the DC25 is based on a rail system, allowing multiple versions of the boat. The rails are integrated longitudinally into the deck and allow for quick attachment or removal of various furniture, appliances and cargo.

DC25 owners can receive family and friends by configuring sofas in different ways. They can be rotated in all directions for a fine view over the water or a communal dinner at a table. The furniture can also be removed creating an open deck for transporting equipment, a quad bike or watercraft.

At the heart of the DC25 is a powerful 134 ps (100 kW) electric drive system with an under-deck battery pack offering a capacity of 89 to 134 kWh. The boat can cruise at a top speed of 32 knots for up to 75 minutes. Those who prefer a more leisurely pace can continue sailing for as long as 6 hours at 6 knots. The carbon-fibre hull ensures the boat is lightweight, maximising the range available from the battery pack.

On deck is the wheelhouse, which can be folded down in a jiffy. Also noteworthy is the door that is integrated in the bow and can be folded down. This makes it possible to berth on the beach and step directly onto the beach from the front.

The DC25 can carry up to 12 passengers. A limousine version offering even greater protection against the elements is currently under development. The DC25 made its world debut at the recent Düsseldorf Boat Show. The DC25 is built at the DutchCraft shipyard in Groot-Ammers. Watch this video for a presentation of the DC25.
